Hi guys,

Need some help after a failed update of decoder MX645R.

What have I done:
1. Put the loc on Program Track (nothing else on any track)
2. Set CV144=0
3. Loaded 'Roco_Z21_191220.zsu' in Roco Z21 Maintenance Tool (v.1.14) at "Decoder Update" tab
4. Selected MX645 and pressed "Update" button
5. The progress bar started with progress indication and somewhere around 10% appeared a message about data transfer failure.
Since then the decoder is not reacting at anything. The progress bar is not progressing.
Power OFF/ON, Z21 disconnect/connect....
Any CV readings ends with: JMRI DecoderPro was not able to detect it.
Last version was 33: What can be done?
Is it possible to repair?
Decoder was fully functional. No power packs, capacitors and so on.

I don't know, what happened.
I can't say anything About Roco's Z21.

You can send the decoder to ZIMO for flashing the Software again.

Appreciate your reply!
The problem was the connection between Z21 and Roco Maintenance Tool - it was over WiFi and not stable enough.
After deselection of "CV verification" box I was able to repeat update process for many times, but never reached 100%
Then I switched to LAN connection and since then have updated all of my decoders, including the reported one.

Therefore thank you for your readiness to help and for excellent decoder architecture!
